The aim of this Unit is to provide the learner with the ability to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of the theory supporting good animal husbandry practice. This unit is designed to give learners a detailed understanding of the production of animals for scientific research.
Note: the IAT syllabus states that guided learning hours for this module are 7.5 hours, with learners expected to devote another 102.5 hours of their time to research and assignment writing.
